Public Transport

Trams: From the city, catch any tram along Swanston Street except for the tram that goes to South Melbourne (Route number 1) and the tram that goes to the Art Centre.  Get off at the Domain Interchange Tram Stop which is at the Domain Road and St Kilda Road intersection, opposite the Shrine of Remembrance.  Cross St Kilda Road and head down Albert Road.  Look for Simmonds Gallery on the right and we are located on Level 8 in that building. The Toorak tram (Route number 8) also runs between the Domain Interchange Tram Stop and South Yarra train station, which connects to east and south bound train lines.

Taxi:  There is a taxi rank across the road (on St Kilda Rd) which has taxis most of the day.

Car Parking

Car parks:

  1. Care Park Pty Ltd, 13-21 Palmerston Crescent, South Melbourne (in the street directly behind the NESA offices)
  2. Kings Parking,  2 Bowens Crescent, South Melbourne
  3. Secure Parking, 21 Bank Street, South Melbourne

Street parking:

  1. Metered parking on the street is available on Albert Road. The north side of Albert Road (same side as NESA) is restricted to 1 hour parking and the south side is restricted to 2 hours. Please remember to display your ticket on your dashboard. 

Disability Access

  • Disability access via car park entrance adjacent to front stairs on Albert Road. Please notify the NESA office prior to arrival as the car park entrance requires a key card to access.
  • Disability car parking is available at front of building on Albert Rd
