How do NESA members help employers?

For Employers Our members operate from 3500 sites across Australia and are very much a part of their local community. The 35,000 staff in these organisations are ideally positioned to cultivate a collaborative and mutually beneficial working relationship with employers.

Employment and related services offer a range of assistance to employers to assist them to meet their workforce needs.

Employment Services - Your partners in recruitment

A fundamental element of the services offered to employers is assistance with recruitment in order to find workers with the skills and attributes to meet business requirements.

Our members will work with you to understand your business needs to find the right staff.

Our members will provide you and your new recruits with pre and post placement support  to achieve sustainable employment solutions.

Employment service providers are ready and able to assist you to fill your vacancies.  Building a strategic relationship with your local employment services provider can be of significant added value and can help to ensure that the skills you need will be available as you need them.

These relationships can support the employer to develop workplace training and support systems, cultivate a workplace culture of diversity and inclusion, and access a broader range of government support, such as wage assistance, education and training support or apprenticeship services. These initiatives strengthen workplaces for existing workers as well as prospective employees.  Building a relationship with your employment service provider helps them to get to know you and your business.  This enables them to take a proactive approach to assisting you with your skill and labour needs.

  • Pre- and post-employment training plans
  • Post-placement support for the employee and employer
  • Information about employer assistance and incentives including training for existing workers, apprenticeships and traineeships, workplace modifications, wage subsidies and Indigenous employment projects
  • On and off the job assistance in job redesign, and support to make reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities
